Let’s make this year’s event the most inspiring one yet!

A Special Meaning This Year

This year’s event holds special meaning as we rename the race in memory of Robert “Bobby” Calvillo, our late CEO of AHSTI, whose lifelong dedication to expanding housing opportunities continues to inspire our work and our mission.

Purpose of the 5K

The 5K serves as an important fundraiser to help low-income families and residents access vital resources, including:

  • Job training

Educational scholarships

  • Career development opportunities

By joining us as a sponsor, you play a direct role in supporting local residents on their path toward self-sufficiency.

Our Ongoing Commitment

Together, McHC and AHSTI remain committed to ensuring that individuals and families across McAllen and the South Texas region have access to:

  • Safe, affordable housing

  • Supportive services needed to thrive

We look forward to bringing together community members, businesses, and leaders from across the Valley for this meaningful event.

Sponsorship Opportunities

Proceeds will be managed by McHC’s nonprofit arm, the McAllen Housing Facility Corporation (MHFC), and will go directly toward supporting eligible housing participants in their journey forward.
